The Institute for Wishful Thinking© is a collaborative group of artists working together to grant the wishes of organizations. We specialize in providing aid and acknowledgment to those under-recognized, tireless individuals who work behind the scenes in organizations. However, we also take advantage of the ambiguity contained in our name to provide a space for fantasy, imagination and creativity.

We offer our assistance in the form of three wishes and we ask you to formulate them as follows: one practical, one outrageous, and one secret. Since the IWT works with organizations, not individuals, wishes are always directed toward a specific organizational event, goal or challenge. We do our best to grant as many or your wishes as we can, and always at least one of the three. Sometimes we decide to grant your wishes in a literal manner. Sometimes we feel a symbolic or metaphorical approach is more appropriate. While our primary goal is to be of help, we also accept wishes that offer critique.
